Portland Street Response is a mobile crisis first responder system that provides free, confidential services Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m within the city of Portland. Portland Street Response is designed to provide an alternative to law enforcement whenever possible in crisis situations.
Request a free meal for delivery or pick up no questions asked. Meal request form request form is open from Monday to Wednesday, or until capacity is hit. Requests must be made weekly and limit 1 family meal per household. Someone from your household must be available to receive.
Various locations. Alcohol/drug-free living environment in shared housing. Must be recovering from addiction or alcoholism. Each house is democratically run by members and financially self-supporting. Must live clean and sober, be able to pay equal share of expenses; inpatient treatment completion not a requirement for housing.
1430 SW Broadway St. Secures permanent housing for seniors, 55 and older, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with no minor children. New clients should call for eligibility and hours.
